It goes without saying that alcohol and gambling are the most favored activities on the traditional bucks night. Let's not forget the addition of a stripper and you pretty well have your average bachelor party night all sorted.

But if you're looking for something a little different, something a little more creative and memorable, then take a look at the bachelor party games and ideas listed below.

First Things First....

It's usually one of the brothers or the best man that will be the organizer of the bucks night, so you're probably the person reading this!

I know the bucks night is supposed to be a surprise, and so it should be, but do consult with the prospective groom first. Try and get some ideas on what he would like and importantly not like to happen on his night of nights. The stripper for example, isn't for everyone and some bucks do prefer to have a more sedate night, hanging out with his close friends. If that's the case, think about porno movie night or card games such as poker with a few fun games thrown in. Remember the porn should be focused on disgusting or comic rather than arousal, so choose carefully.

Another popular idea is to have an Online Games night in. Add some Pizza, beer and play from a wide range of both PC or Mac games online.

If your heading out, then your job, apart from making this night a fun and memorable one for the groom, is also to keep him safe. Make sure that transport is taken care of. No drink driving and no crazy activities that could get him injured or in more trouble than he can handle with his bride to be.

Decide on the theme of the bachelor party early so that you have plenty of time to plan your games and activities around it. Once your theme has been chosen, the party invitations can be organized as can the party decorations party food if you're hiring a venue.

Check with the groom how many guests will be invited and get an idea of the budget. There's no point planning an event which is financially out of reach to most of the guests. You will need to think about how the event will be paid for. I recommend payment to be paid before the event, to ensure that you don't end up out of pocket if someone doesn't show up.

Whatever activity you choose to do for the bucks night, dressing the buck up a bit is sure to add to the entertainment, and you can be as creative as you like. Humiliating the buck is a popular activity for the bucks night. You can start with a specially designed T Shirt or silly hat and add various props that he must wear during the night.

Rob Mulligan has put together a "Proven Bachelor System" Check out what he has to say about his Bachelor Success System safe, Bachelor fun for everyone.

  • Ball and Chain With Shackle One Size is a fun idea. Have the groom wear the ball and chain. Add games around it, such as everyone takes it in turns to write something on the ball that the buck has to read out aloud at the end of the night.
  • A neat idea that I've seen is the Bachelor Spin for a Dare Button, which the buck wears on his night out. Girls are encouraged to spin the button and the bachelor has to do the dare.
  • Another fun accessory is the "Spank the Monkey Keychain". All the guests can wear one, and they have to ask the girls if they would like to stroke their monkey. The monkey key chain is in the shape of a monkey holding his big banana, which lights up when pressed and cries out with monkey joy.
  • After a few drinks have been had, start with some bachelor party games such as Pin The Boobs On the Babe! Game. This is a popular game, same idea as Pin the Donkeys Tail but for big boys.
  • In keeping with the boob theme, why not get a Giant Stress Boob Stress BallNovelty Games) and play some ball games around it. For example, pass the boob around the group and when the music stops or the facilitator shouts "Stop", the guy holding the boob has to do a truth or dare.
  • After a few more drinks, you could use the booby dodgeball in a passing game. The booby has to be passed from one guy to the next, around the group, between the legs, without using their hands. Whoever has the boob between their legs when the music stops is out. Last man with the boob wins. Appropriate booby prize optional.
  • Card games are always popular with the boys and you can get some fun Nude Women Playing Cards 54 CardsStandard Card Decks) which you can use whether your playing Black Jack or Go Fish.
  • Bachelor party games must include drinking games unless the group are tea totallers. Drinking games go hand in hand with card games, so include some popular drinking games such as "Suicide", "Shit Faced", or "Hockey".
  • Finally, there's nothing like a good story, so encourage all the guests to share their favorite story involving the Buck. The more humiliating the story the better.
  • Remember, you don't need to plan too many games, just 2 or 3 around your theme will work well.

Final Tip, Don't have the bucks night on the night before the wedding, you all may need at least a week to recover!

"Thank you Katherine, love your site. I used your suggestions for my 4 year olds birthday party last week. 15 Kindergarden kids! My sister does face painting so we did that. I had a pass the parcel using nursery rhyme music I had a candy between each wrapping of paper which worked well. Finally I did some balloon games. They loved it. I especially liked your idea of having a story time at the end of the party, it worked well, my sister read the stories and I organized the parents as they arrived to pick up their kids. My little girl loved her special day and I think it was the games that made it work so well. Planning my sons 7th Birthday for next month now"

Just a quick note to let you know that I followed your instructions for running party games at my sons birthday party and it went really well. I did 3 games and the most popular was the obstacle course. I had 10 boys ages 6-10 and once they had played with the course I had set out they then started to create their own ideas for obstacles and rearranged the course making it harder and harder. This 1 game kept them entertained for over an hour.
