I love summer, who doesn't? ………..OK, there's always one!! :)

For the rest of us, in summer, the pool is the ideal place to have your party, especially if it's in the afternoon and it's stinking hot.

And how cool is a pool party at night, wow it's the best.

Now, I grew up in England, dreaming of having a pool, the best I got was a bucket of water and a garden hose…no fun. Now I live in Australia, I have a pool and I love my summer pool parties.

Anyway, if you or a friend has a pool, then it's time for a pool party, so read on to learn what the best pool party games are for this summer.

First Things First… Safety is the number one priority when having a pool party, so make sure that a designated responsible, able swimmer is always on watch at the pool, especially when children are around.

All children and adults taking part in pool party games must be strong swimmers. 30+ Sunscreen and UV clothing highly recommended.

Follow pool safety instructions, such as no diving into shallow end of pool, no glass in pool area. Be clear to all your guest the importance of pool safety, and make sure they know the rules.

Pool Party Games

Poolside Basketball and Volley ball

All you need is a Jamming Molded Poolside Basketball and let the competition begin.

Have 2 teams playing a game against each other or use it as part of a pool party game obstacle course, (see below). Once a throw misses, the ball is passed onto the next kid for them to try. If there are lots of kids, limit it to say 3 shots each before its passed on to the next kid.

The person or team to collect the most points based on the Dive Dudes value is the winner. These are good also to use as part of pool obstacle course.

Have two teams race each other from one end of the pool to the other, while completing various tasks.

Suggested tasks include but not limited to the following ideas:

Dive down to collect a Dive Dudes

Perform a forward tumble roll

Perform a backward tumble roll

Swim under someones legs (another team member must stand in the pool for this)

Throw a ball into the Jamming Molded Poolside Basketball net.

Use this Transparent Tube that they must get into a swim to the end of the pool.
